9-11 WTC Memorial Floating Lantern Ceremony

6pm-9pm on the South side of Pier 40 on the Hudson River

6pm – Prepare Lanterns by writing loved one’s names and messages for peace

6:30pm – Interfaith prayer and meditation, Musical Performances, Greetings and Messages, Buddhist chant for 9/11 victims and 3/11 Japanese earthquake and Tsunami victims.

7:45pm – Floating lanterns released onto the Hudson
