Interfaith Seder for Solidarity With Families Facing Deportation invites you to support people who are facing potential detention and deportation. This interfaith gathering will help send a clear, strong message that New Yorkers stand with families— regardless of their immigration status.Dozens of people each day must check-in with Immigration and Customs Enforcement at 26 Federal Plaza. Ravi Ragbir—our friend and colleague—must check-in again on April 11th, 2017. When individuals enter 26 Federal Plaza to check-in, they don’t know if they will be able to see their families again. Now more than ever it is important to show solidarity in the face of policies that threaten our communities.
Join us for an Interfaith Seder on the First Day of Passover, and the day of Ravi’s next ICE check-in, to stand with individuals and families facing deportation. This act of solidarity will bring together advocates and supporters to show immigrants that they are not alone. To receive text message updates, please text ISTANDWITHRAVI (one word, capital or lower case letters are fine) to 41411
