On Tuesday, Oct. 9, a webinar called “An Interfaith Framework for Teaching World Religions” was led by ICNY’s Director of Education Programs, Dr. Henry Goldschmidt, and Stephen Arbogast, Senior Chaplain and Chair of the Religious Studies Department at the National Cathedral School. The event was co-sponsored by ICNY and the National Association of Episcopal Schools, and applicable to Grades 6 to 12.
The webinar presented a framework for the teaching of world religions that incorporates “lived religions” as a way to better understand the religious lives and world views of our neighbors of various faiths.
