Dear Community Leader:
Please join me tomorrow (12/9) at 10 AM on the steps of New York City Hall as we rally together with members of the interfaith community in response to Donald Trump’s recent comments on the campaign trail.
As Speaker of the New York City Council, I am very proud of the work that we have done together to advance smart, humane policies that have served as a model for the rest of the country.
Donald Trump may think he’s the quintessential New Yorker, but his racist, anti-immigrant remarks fly directly in the face of everything that we stand for and have no place in our city.
If you can join us, please RSVP right away to Linwood Smith in the Council’s Community Engagement Division either by phone at 212-788-5646 or by email at lrsmith@council.nyc.gov.
I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Melissa Mark-Viverito
Speaker
NYC Council
