It’s not too late to celebrate ICNY’s 20 years!

Couldn’t Save the Date?
It’s Not Too Late!

“Everyone who cares about tolerance, everyone who cares about justice, should support The Interfaith Center of New York’s commitment to civic engagement for grassroots religious leaders.”
– Preet Bharara, former US attorney for the Southern District of New York

The Interfaith Center of New York’s 20th anniversary gala and James Parks Morton Awards ceremony was an inspiring evening.  High-wire artist Philippe Petit hosted the evening, honoring Preet Bharara for his work fighting corruption and making sure all citizens are treated equally under the law, Ann Rockefeller Roberts for her lifelong support for the rights of Indigenous Peoples, and the Community of Sant’Egidio for their friendship with the elderly, refugees, and the homeless around the world including here in New York City.

The evening served as a milestone, marking ICNY’s 20th anniversary and positioning us for the years ahead, when it seems our work is more important than ever.  That’s why, even if you missed out on the gala, we hope you will act now to keep the center moving forward.

ICNY works in the following critical areas:
– Training public school teachers how to teach religious diversity consistent with the principles of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution;
– Providing religious and cultural sensitivity training materials for new recruits at the New York Police Department;

– Educating social workers on religious diversity to help them serve their diverse NYC clientele.

We’re working every day to make positive change in the our city and our world. But we can only do it with your support.
