Meet at 5 pm at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, 5th Avenue & 50th Street
For the 20th anniversary of 9/11, diverse NYC faith leaders are joining hands and “praying with our feet,” to commemorate tragedy and celebrate peace.
Please join us as we walk to five houses of worship in Midtown Manhattan, standing in solidarity against injustice, hate, and discrimination. We will begin our journey at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, then walk together to Central Synagogue, then The Islamic Society of Mid-Manhattan, then Hope Church Midtown, and finally to the Manhattan Sikh Center
We’ll stop briefly at each house of worship for prayers and reflections.
Following CDC guidelines we ask all participants to wear a mask, to protect the the health of their fellow New Yorkers. Masks will be available if needed.
