This Holiday Season, we invite you to join other faith communities and civic organizations in remembering our newest neighbors: the thousands of Afghan women refugees and their families in the Tri-State area in need of winter clothing.
Please share this announcement with your congregation or community. See below for locations where you can drop new and clean, gently used coats, hats, scarves, gloves, socks, winter shoes, sweaters and hijab/headscarves. There is also a link to an Amazon registry of pre-selected items.
This interfaith winter clothing drive for Afghan Refugees will extend from November 23–December 4th, 2021.
