All those concerned and interested in the challenge of bringing healthcare to birthing mothers in the rural villages of the world, where, presently, on average, 780 are dying per day, mostly alone, without trained health workers. This worship service is open to all and especially to nurses, midwives and other health professionals. It will address the United Nations Millennium Development Goal # 5 for Maternal Health and will launch the campaign for ‘Daring, Caring & Sharing to Save Mothers’ Lives,’ led by the Nightingale Initiative for Global Health (NIGH) @ www.NIGHtingaleDeclaration.net.
