The NYS Interfaith Network for Immigration Reform in collaboration with key immigrant and faith based organizations/congregations presents Faith Community and Congressional Leaders, Immigrants and Immigrant Advocates at a Press Conference to Promote Just and Humane Comprehensive Immigration Reform. Speakers will include Congressman Joseph Crowley; Congressman Charles Rangel; Congresswoman Nydia Velasquez; Rabbi Noam Marans, AJC National Director of Interreligious Affairs; Pastor Gilford Monrose, Vice President of CUSH; Msgr Kevin Sullivan, Executive Director, Catholic Charities of NY; Imam Talib Abdur-Rashid, Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood; Chung-Wha Hong, Director, New York Immigration Coalition. Also featured will be TK Nakagaki, Buddhist Council of NY and Mohan Ramaswamy, Hindu Temple of North America. Addtional speakers will be announced shortly.
