It is time that the power of Interfaith works to mediate the elements of fear, anger, and hate into positive human relationships. The Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions and The Islamic Center of Long Island welcome all to the nation’s premiere Faith Against Hate public program, convening those concerned from across communities of faith, spirit, and civic institutions to join and take steps beyond solidarity toward greater action in the struggle overcoming our culture of hate. Front line experts from each Faiths Against Hate co-sponsoring organization across Long Island and New York City will deliver comprehensive, reality-driven trainings on hate crime, influencing law, engaging youth, building interfaith community, changing minds and media, and more. Come concerned, leave prepared. For Questions concerning venue information, registration, or programmatic questions, or New York Regional Media requests, please contact Seemi Ahmed, Muslim Chaplain for Hofstra University at aasra81@gmail.com. For national press inquiries, contact Molly Horan at the Council for a Parliament of the World’s Religions at molly@parliamentofreligions.org. The program is free and lunch is included.
