ICNY has continued its work to build partnerships between social service providers and parishes and mosques in the Archdiocese of New York. Three sets of partners in the Bronx, Harlem and Staten Island are participating in this project; they have held meetings to learn more about one another and to begin discussions about social action projects they will undertake in the coming months. In the coming year, ICNY is also planning to develop a city-wide partnership on foster care, including the Brooklyn and Queens diocese. ICNY has initiated research on foster care services provided by Catholic and Muslim social service agencies in New York City.
