The following events will take place in New York during U.N. Assembly Week:
Shinnyo Lantern Floating for Peace
Date: Sunday, Sept. 22
Time: 7:00 pm
Location: Trump Rink in Central Park
On Sunday, September 22 at 7pm, International Buddhist community, Shinnyo-en, will bring thousands together at Trump Rink in Central Park to float lanterns for peace on the eve of the U.N. General Assembly. All are invited to write their own personal message for peace on candle-lit paper lanterns and set them afloat to honor peacemakers. Her Holiness Shinso Ito, the head priest of Shinnyo-en and one of the highest-ranking woman Buddhist leaders in the world, will preside over the ceremony. There will be live musical performances by Shinnyo Taiko drummers, Junior Fountain & God’s Generation Gospel choir, Jazz trumpeter Graham Haynes and other local and international artists. Join the Rally to Condemn Massacre of Iranian Refugees

Please join the Association of Iranian Americans in a rally to condemn “Crime Against Humanity”. Keynote Speakers: Hon. Rudy Giuliani and Hon. Patrick Kennedy.
· Protest the execution of 52 unarmed Iranian refugees in Camp Ashraf.
· Protest against the visit to the UN by Hassan Rouhani whose regime together with Iraq Prime Minister Maliki planned & carried out the massacre.
· Protest against the crimes of Bashar Assad in Syria with backing of the Iranian regime.
