Senator Liz Krueger Invites You to a Community Forum. Join a discussion on what the new federal health care law means for New Yorkers. Starting January 1, 2014, New York will run a health care marketplace, called New York State of Health. Individuals, families, and small business owners will be able to enroll in new, affordable health insurance plans through the marketplace. Find out if you’re eligible, how and when to apply, what benefits and plan options are available, details on financial aid to help pay qualified New Yorkers’ insurance premiums, and details on tax credits for small businesses.
