Dear Friends,
We are writing with shocking and sad news. Annie Rawlings, who has been Director of Public Outreach and Program Administration at The Interfaith Center of New York since 2011, died unexpectedly while on holiday in Mexico this past weekend. All of us in the office are startled by this news and our thoughts and prayers go out to her parents and siblings who survive her. Annie was a friend and participant in the Rabbi Marshall Meyer retreats long before she came to work at ICNY. She was a driving force behind both our Prepare New York Initiative in 2010 and, more recently, with the Reentry Family and Faith Circles of Support Program that connected volunteers of diverse faith traditions with formerly incarcerated men and women returning home. Annie was an inexhaustible champion for the poor and disenfranchised. She was a devoted aunt, sister, and daughter, and she remained a great fan of Bruce Springsteen.
Annie will be terribly missed.
Please join us for a service honoring her life at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at St. James Chapel at Union Theological Seminary 3041 Broadway at 121st St.

It’s raining, but there ain’t a cloud in the sky –
Must have been a tear from your eye.
Everything will be okay.
