Strengthening Muslim Families Through Child Welfare Partnerships
A workshop for Bronx community leaders, imams, teachers, youth workers, day-care providers, and parents interested in foster care.

The workshop seeks to help bridge the gap in culturally responsive child welfare and foster care services for Muslim communities. The workshop will provide information on:
- The definition of child abuse
- How ACS hears about cases and how it investigates & refers families
- Foster parent recruitment and support
- Preventive services, how families can be better supported & how religious leaders can work with ACS
