William F. Baker will be presenting the James Parks Morton Interfaith Award to Bob Abernethy, Founder, Executive Editor, & Host, PBS’ Religion & Ethics NewsWeekly.
Dr. Baker directs the Bernard L. Schwartz Center for Media, Education, and Public Policy at Fordham University, where he is also the Claudio Aquaviva, S.J., Distinguished Professor of Education and journalist-in-residence. He is a distinguished professor at IESE Business School (ranked No. 1 globally by The Economist) and is president emeritus of WNET, New York’s public media station and the premiere source of PBS programs nationwide. Over the four decades of his career, Baker has been a broadcaster, executive, author, sought-after public speaker, academic, and explorer. More information on Dr. Baker is available here.
The James Parks Morton Interfaith Awards will be presented at a gala taking place Monday, June 8th at Tribeca Rooftop beginning at 6:30 for cocktails and followed by a three-course dinner. Tickets range in price from $275 for nonprofit/religious organizations to $1,000 for premiere seating and can be purchased here.
