It’s time to raise our voices for gender justice and the elimination of intimate violence in our families and communities. In all our marvelous diversity, New York City’s faith communities share a common destiny and a desire for peace and healing justice. The Spiritual Alliance to end Intimate Violence is being formed to let everyone know that people of faith are dedicated to confronting and ending domestic violence, rape, child sexual abuse and all forms of intimate violence. Please gather with us on September 12th to share ideas, information, and resources and start the conversation about the ways people of faith can make New York City a city where safe families and peaceful communities can flourish.
