Join us in New York City for Betty Reardon’s 90th Birthday Celebration and launch of “Exploring Betty A. Reardon’s Perspective on Peace Education: Looking Back, Looking Forward,” edited by Dale Snauwaert, with contributions from members of the IIPE network.
The book launch will be an interactive celebration of the book, featuring an international roster of colleagues who have written about the legacy of Betty’s work in peace education. The book celebration is a free event. Advance RSVP’s are required. The launch will be followed by supper and entertainment provided by some of Betty’s former students. Bring your dancing shoes and come prepared to take a spin on the dancefloor with Betty! Supper and entertainment is a ticketed event: $50 per person includes meal and a complimentary drink. The deadline to purchase supper tickets is June 7.
