The NYC Commission on Human Rights, in partnership with Sadhana, ISKCON NY, Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams, and the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs are hosting a Diwali Celebration event. Diwali is a time when Hindus around the world celebrate the victory of good over evil, and light over darkness. Our Brooklyn Diwali gathering will be a beautiful interfaith celebration and reflection on the battle between good and evil that is taking place all around us in our city, and within each of us. We will also have special performances by Sunny Jain of Red Baraat and Grammy-nominated artist, Jahnavi Harrison!
