Date: Monday April 22
On Earth Day, Monday, April 22, ICNY will examine what many of the world religions teach about humanity’s relationship to the Earth. Beginning at 12:01 am and continuing through the day, ICNY will “tweet” periodic verses, proverbs and sayings from Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Taoism, Bahá’í, Zoroastrianism, the indigenous perspectives of Native Americans, Maori, Aborigines, and more. Follow @ICNY – and tweet your own contributions with the hashtag #EarthVerse, or send them ahead of time to Kevin Childress at kevin@interfaithcenter.org, to be added to our presentation.
