In the Religious Worlds of New York summer institute, 25 teachers from throughout the country have a unique opportunity to study with leading scholars of religion and speak with diverse religious leaders. These conversations help participants understand the everyday lives of their diverse neighbors, as in this discussion of hijab with Sahar Alsahlani and Faiza Ali. Our next institute meets in July 2018, and we hope you can join the conversation! The program includes a generous stipend, and gives teachers the tools they need to build a more inclusive society. Applications are due by March 1st. For more information please visit http://www.religiousworldsnyc.org.
