June 30: End Family Separation NYC Rally and March

June 26, 2018 ICNY

Date: Saturday, June 30
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Location: Begin at Foley Square & march across the Brooklyn Bridge to rally at Cadman Plaza

On Saturday, June 30, partners are organizing rallies all around the country to demand Donald Trump and his administration stop locking up children and families fleeing violence and persecution. The NYIC and many close ally organizations like 1199SEIU, 32BJ SEIU, Atlas: DIY, CARECEN-NY, Empire State Indivisible, Neighbors Link, NYCLU, and Rise and Resist will be leading the action in NYC. Join us Saturday, June 30, 10:00 a.m. at Foley Square.

RSVP today, and make sure to share with your friends. We need all of our New York to come out and show this administration that we will not rest until they reverse this awful “zero tolerance” policy.

Because let’s be clear, the Executive Order that Donald Trump signed yesterday is NOT a solution to the crisis his administration created. There is NO plan for reunification; there is NO clear tracking system for the children that were already forcibly stolen from their families; and there is NO plan to stop criminalizing asylum seekers at the border. We need the “zero tolerance” policy to end NOW.

The NYIC will continue to raise its voice and fight for a fair and just immigrant agenda.

To stay informed and engaged on this and all local actions, text NYIC to 864237.
