Every day at the Interfaith Center of New York, we encounter people in faith communities working tirelessly throughout New York City to improve life for the poor, for immigrants, and for victims of abuse and neglect. Part of our work is to connect these leaders with each other, so they can share their unique voices while demonstrating a unified message of justice by standing together.

Please help us discover inspiring #FaithJusticeHero’s in your community, so we can raise up and celebrate their work, and help their voices be heard across the city.

In times that can feel rather negative and dark, these leaders shine a positive light of hope.

Tell us about your #FaithJusticeHero:

– Create a post on social media to honor a leader who inspires you through their work to help others

– Tag them if they are also active on social media, and be sure to use the hashtag #FaithJusticeHero (and tag ICNY too: @InterfaithCenterNY on Facebook and Instagram, @ICNY on Twitter)

– Invite your hero to create a post about their own #FaithJusticeHero, too

– Send an email containing the name of your #FaithJusticeHero – and why you are nominating them – to socialmedia@interfaithcenter.org

Soon we’ll begin to highlight some of these #FaithJusticeHero’s, spotlighting them in podcasts and articles, and more importantly, inviting them to participate in social justice actions around New York. We might also invite them as an esteemed guest to our gala in June, 2019.

So please tell us:
