In collaboration with NYC Racial Justice Commission’s #FlipTheBallot initiative and FPWA, ICNY hosted an Interfaith conversation on the Racial Justice Ballot Proposals voted on and passed in this most recent NYC General Election. This voter education event was dedicated to informing New York City’s faith community about the Racial Justice ballot proposals. Rev. Dr. Chloe Breyer facilitated a conversation with RJC Executive Director Harold Miller and Apostle Onleilove Chika Alston.
Attendees walked away with questions about the Racial Justice ballot proposals answered. They learned about the history and origin of the Racial Justice Commission, the specifics of the proposals and why this was important for the faith community.
