Speaking on her newly-published book, From Enemy to Friend: Jewish Wisdom and the Pursuit of Peace, Rabbi Amy Eilberg will highlight Jewish understandings of conflict and peacebuilding as they apply to interpersonal conflict, interreligious encounter, intra-communal discord, and even international hostilities. Her presentation will be followed by brief talks on resources for peace in Christianity and Islam from Professor Giovanna Czander, Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Dominican College and Fordham University, and Dr. Sarah Sayeed, Director of Community Partnerships at the Interfaith Center of NY.
