“We are profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequence of his actions. While we understand that many others share our pain, we ask that you channel your frustration in ways that will make a positive change. We need to work together to fix the system that allowed this to happen.
Join with us in our campaign to ensure that every police officer working the streets in this country wears a body camera.
We respectfully ask that you please keep your protests peaceful. Answering violence with violence is not the appropriate reaction.
Let’s not just make noise, let’s make a difference.”

We live in solidarity with the courageous people of Ferguson, people anticipating a path to wholeness and healing. Knowing that everywhere is Ferguson, We gather for an Interfaith opportunity that realizes the power and uniqueness of every faith tradition and person. At the center of this spiritual encounter, we recognize our mutual call to justice, love and togetherness. Through music, theological exploration and open conversation, we will create a robust democratic space to vent about perpetual social ills and re-imagine our world in light of a sustainable Beloved Community. This is a time to hold one another in our times of social confusion, righteous anger, and communal disappointment. In the back drop of the Grand Jury decision in the case of Michael Brown and Darren Wilson, we choose to express and honor the inherent dignity of human being. In this sacred space, we see the sacredness of all persons, uphold an unflinching commitment to justice and demand faith communities to unite under the banner of freedom.
