On Wednesday, November 16 Circles of Support hosted: kNOw Justice Here at Exodus Transitional Community (2271 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10035). At this conference a diverse gathering of advocates, impacted community members, faith leaders of government officials gathered to discuss the impact of gun violence on the Black and Brown community and build coalitions to find solutions.
Guests came away from the event with a better sense of the impact of gun violence on the Black and Brown community. Those who were already engaged in the work walked away with a broader network of like-minded advocates and access to resources for the community.
