Join New York Law School, the Interfaith Center of New York, and the New York State Bar Association for a full-day CLE symposium on lawyering and religious diversity. The symposium will help attorneys work effectively with clients from diverse faith communities — an essential skill for legal practice in our pluralistic society.
Speakers will include attorneys, faith leaders, and other experts on religious diversity, social justice, human rights, and the law.
Breakout sessions will explore legal issues facing religiously diverse New Yorkers, including family law, employment discrimination, and alternative dispute resolution.
The day will also include lunch and reflections from Chief Judge Robert A. Katzmann of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
