(New York, NY, 11/13/15) The Islamic Leadership Council, the largest Muslim religious umbrella organization in the Nation, strongly condemns the horrific attacks in Paris that took unjustly more than a hundred innocent lives and left many more injured.
The Council asserts that Islam does not permit the taking of innocent lives and that the murder of one person is like the murder of all of humanity.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of terrorist attacks, their families and the people of France. The Council joins with all faith communities in praying for those affected and bring the perpetrators to justice.
