At ICNY’s 21st gala celebration on June 11, we’re excited to be honoring Mary Jane Brock, first board chair of The Interfaith Center of New York in 2002 and Vice Chair of the Big Apple Circus 1990-2015, for her leadership and support over the past two decades.
Mary Jane has had a lifelong career of working with various nonprofit organizations….from the early days of the New York Junior League and the East Hampton Library and her alma mater in Virginia, to being “Ms. Big Apple Circus”….35 years as vice chair of that beloved organization. She was the first board chair of the Interfaith Center in 2002, and continues to serve on the boards of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Guild Hall in East Hampton and Stratford Hall, an historic house museum in Virginia. In short, she has been involved with the boards of a women’s volunteer organization, a boarding school, a circus, a cathedral, a library, a cultural center, a house museum….and an interfaith center… a very cool collection of interests!
