(“MICA” or the “organization”) is a 501 c (3) non-profit organization founded in 1989 under the leadership of the Venerated Sheikh Mouhamadou Mourtalla Mbacke. The organization’s main goals are to promote, deliver, and explain the true message Allah (s.a.t.) sent to humanity through His Messenger and Servant Muhammad (s.a.w.) through the teachings and guidance of Sheikh Ahmadou Bamba (r.a.). MICA is to link the Murid Communities throughout the United States by the rope of Unity, brotherhood and helping each other in the path of Islam and in our enterprises. MICA is also to be active in helping the needy regardless of race or orientation. To facilitate the promotion of Islam, MICA will create centers throughout the United Stated, where needed. To anticipate the expansion of the New York Chapter, MICA is planning to acquire a larger space for a Masjid and a school.
