The question of reparations. What could a theological response look like? The Micah Institute invites you to its Faith Table Luncheon, where Rev. Dr. Mary Foulke will lead us in a discussion about how faith leaders and their communities can explore this question of reparations. What do reparations mean and should be the American response? Political candidates, justice groups and faith communities are all challenging our nation to face the issue.
As we approach the 50th anniversary of Jim Forman’s deliverance of the Black Manifesto at Riverside Church, members of the faith community should be prepared to take a stand.
