The Sikh Coalition and 154 other organizations are calling upon the Senate Judiciary Committee to convene hearings on hate groups in the United States. This letter requesting the hearings was sent on Tuesday, Aug. 21.
Some of the national organizations who joined in the submission of the letter include The Interfaith Center of New York, Anti-Defamation League, The Episcopal Church, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the NAACP, and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.
