K-12 teachers and other religious literacy educators are invited to join us for a Black History Month workshop, Teaching African-American Religious Diversity: Black Jewish, Buddhist, and Lukumi Perspectives.
A panel of Black faith leaders will explore the often-overlooked diversity of religious life within African American communities. Panelists will briefly introduce their traditions, sharing core beliefs, historical roots, the role of faith in everyday life, and practical strategies for teaching about Black religious diversity.
