The Majlis Shura of New York joined by the Interfaith community of New York will hold a press conference to condemn the Islamophobic and un-American comments made by presidential candidates and to thank fellow Americans who spoke in support of American Values and their fellow Muslim Americans
New York, NY December 12, 2015 — The Islamic Leadership Council, the largest Muslim shura council in the Nation, joined by The Interfaith Center of New York (ICNY) and many other interfaith leaders will hold a press conference Monday December 14, 2015 at 1:00 PM at NYC City Hall.
The Islamic Leadership Council Of New York (ILCNY) is joined by The Interfaith Center of New York and other interfaith leaders in condemning the bigotry, racism and blatant disregard and attempt to violate the civil rights of minorities by major GOP candidates, especially Mr. Donald Trump.
We want our country to keep its commitment to constitutional freedoms and rights on which it was built. Therefore, we, the Leadership Council of New York invite Mr. Trump and other GOP candidates to have a meeting with us to discuss any issues they have with Muslim Americans.
