Harlem Congregations: Schedule a presentation at your faith community about the importance of providing Second Chance Employment – job opportunities to people who have come home from prison through the Harlem Reentry Court. Employers will be able to post jobs directly onto the Interfaith Center web site. Presentations include an overview of the challenges faced by people who have been incarcerated – along with the supports available to employers: tax incentive for businesses, and a federal bonding program that insures against liability. Presentations will include testimony from someone who has returned home from prison.

Offering Second Chance Employment is a powerful way that people can put their faith into action, and can provide hope to not only individuals who have been incarcerated, but to their families and the wider community as well.
