An interfaith dialogue cosponsored by ICNY and the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling, in conjunction with ASERVIC’s July 16-18 annual conference of faith-based counselors and human development professionals.
For many people, religious faith is a source of strength in moments of crisis. In this rich interfaith dialogue, a panel of local religious leaders will explore the ways religion and spirituality can help us to face – and overcome – both personal and communal crises. The panelists will be Sister Carol DeAngelo, Anindita Chatterjee Bhaumik, Rabbi Dr. Laura Gold, Rev. Dr. Khadijah Matin, Houngan Öneza Lafontant, and Rev. Dr. T. Kenjitsu Nakagaki. We hope you can join the conversation on Thursday, July 16 from 1:30 to 4:30 pm, at the Roosevelt Hotel, 45 East 45th Street. Preregistration is required. To register for the panel alone, please email amanda.giordano@unt.edu. To register for the conference see http://www.aservic.org/conference/registration.
