Standing Against Antisemitism
in White Plains, NY & Halle, Germany
The Interfaith Center of New York stands in solidarity with the families of the two people murdered on Yom Kippur after an horrific live-streamed antisemitic attack on a synagogue in Halle, Germany. The assailant used the same pattern of hateful speech and violence as the Christchurch terrorist and exposes the urgent need to combat right-wing violence and hate speech online. To express your solidarity with the German Jewish Community of Halle and Berlin sign here to add your name supporting the AJC’s statement.
Hate and antisemitism know no boundaries and also on Yom Kippur, antisemitic flyers were affixed to the gates of the Garden of Remembrance, which honors victims of the Holocaust in White Plans, NY.
Join a vigil against antisemitism and hate TODAY, Oct. 10 at 12 noon at Westchester Country’s Garden of Remembrance next to 148 Martine Ave in White Plains. Join in support of the Jewish community in White Plains. (Here’s County Executive George Latimer’s press conference about the incident).
