The Interfaith Center of New York and Majlis Ashura of New York (Islamic Leadership Council of New York) hosted a press conference on Wednesday, November 18th at 1:00 pm at the Muslim American Society Youth Center in Brooklyn, NY condemning the horrific attacks in Paris, Beirut, Yola, Kenya, Iraq and Nigeria and other acts done at the hands of violent extremists.
This interfaith coalition led by Muslims featured Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Sikh, and other leaders. They all gathered together to offer prayers and condolences for the fallen. They also cautioned against fearmongering, more war, and backlash against Syrian refugees.
