The Tzu Chi New York Branch is having a charity fundraiser event mobilizing almost two hundred volunteers in a performance of “The Sutra of Filial Piety,” which will express the meaning of the scripture through music, sign language, and playacting. The performance will use a simplified manner to allow people from all backgrounds to devlve into scripture, and understand the true meaning and essence of “filial piety,” or paying respect to one’s parents. We invite you to attend, purchase tickets, make a donation, or to show support through the purchase of an advertisement.
