THIS IS AMERICA will help volunteers rethink poverty from a different standpoint by
experiencing a glimpse of the hardships that typical families go through while living in
poverty. It is an experiential learning event with prepared scenarios to enable people to
rethink poverty. Volunteers are needed to role play in these scenarios that will help shed
light on typical families trying to survive from month to month.
