Town Hall with NYC Women Faith Leaders, NYPD Commissioner Shea & Other High-Level NYPD Leadership

March 30, 2021 ICNY

Daughters4Justice and other women faith leaders across New York City met on March 23rd at 11:00 am to bring your questions for NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea, Chief Jeffrey Maddrey, and Chief Juanita Holmes. Gun Violence, intimate partner violence, racism, youth interrogations, and community outreach are some of the issues covered in this discussion.

Daughters4Justice is a movement of New York women faith leaders dedicated to positive change in our criminal justice system. We want the voices of all women of faith who are concerned about criminal justice heard and we want to hear from you! So, during this town hall, we will discuss how you can get involved, what your concerns are, and what action steps we should take moving forward.

Daughters4Justice Founders:

  • Apostle Staci Ramos, Garden of Gethsemane Ministries, Inc.
  • The Rev. Dr. Chloe Breyer, The Interfaith Center of New York
  • The Rev. Kaji Dousa, Park Avenue Christian Church
  • Dr. Deborah Jenkins, Faith@Work Christian Church Minister
