The workshop seeks to help bridge the gap in culturally responsive child welfare and foster care services for Muslim communities. The workshop will provide information on:
- Basics about Islam and Muslims
- Parenting, Fostering, and Adoption from a Muslim perspective
- The diverse cultures of Muslim New Yorkers
